  • Sr Logistics Specialist

  • Overview

    Responsible for all aspects of site logistics around warehouse management and materials movement. Has a high level of job specific knowledge. May manage a team of 10 employees.


    Conduct analysis of supply capabilities and requirements and make appropriate recommendations. Consolidate and prepare reports.

    Use existing readiness monitoring capabilities and collection of logistics intelligence from multiple logistics databases to predict, manage, and resolve material readiness issues.

    Provide guidance on the preparation of integrated logistics plans and policies and procedures for logistics support for major systems.

    Ensure regulatory compliance for DOT or other regulatory agencies. Answer regulatory questions for the site, classify shipments, and provide training to plant personnel.

    Perform analysis to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements.


    Be knowledgeable in all aspects of Logistics and be capable of providing coverage for the various specialties/positions.

    Assists in developing less experienced Logistics Specialists and Logistics Coordinators.


    • BS degree in a related field
    • 7+ years relevant work experience


    • MS degree
