Provide a wide range of support and customer service on various hardware and software issues in a chemical manufacturing environment. 


  • Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing facility and maintain a safety-first mentality on every task
  • Prompt response to service requests and maintain positive relationships with all levels of end users
  • Strong knowledge of PC Hardware and Software
    • PC Internals and Peripheral devices
    • Imaging and Remote access concepts
    • Microsoft Office and related software
    • Database and various application exposure
    • Working knowledge of Vmware
  • Thorough working knowledge of all aspects of a Microsoft TCP/IP network environment to include but is not limited to:
    • Window Operating Systems and networking
    • Network cabling, design and connectivity
    • Server setup, configuration and maintenance
    • Work in a team environment to maintain communications in a LAN/WAN team
  • Working knowledge of computer security and proactively support corporate IT security initiatives
    • Anti-virus software and related tools
    • Global policy
    • Server and data backups
  • Technical resource to plant personnel in enhancing current systems and formulation of future projects, their supervision and cost management
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IP phone equipment and connectivity
  • Working knowledge of camera and scan card access systems
  • Working knowledge of barcode systems
  • Willingness to participate in other projects and duties as assigned which may include non- IT related activities
  • Ability to tolerate a stressful environment as well as multitask
  • Adaptive, flexible and self-motivated
  • After hours and on-call availability


  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field
  • Certification in Cybersecurity, Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, such as CISSP, CCNA, MCP, VCP, etc.
  • 8 years of experience in IT support
  • Proven track record of increased responsibility in an IT environment
  • 2 years in either an engineering or leadership role
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of a computer network environment
  • Proven track record of increased responsibility in an IT environment
