Support of the Afton Richmond’s Quality Management System functions related to ISO9001, ISO17025, IATF16949, and Customer Complaint Resolution (ReSOLV).

• Lead, perform, evaluate, and analyze the results of internal and external ISO9001, IATF16949 Minimum Automotive Quality Management System Requirements (MAQMSR)
• Assist with support of ISO17025
• Serve as a resource for Richmond ISO Activities, to include new initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, support, and update ISO9001 and IATF16949 systems and tools.
• Interpret and implement as needed the sanctioned interpretations of applicable standards.
• Coordinate internal ISO 9001 audit and prepare associated material necessary for auditors.
• In conjunction with management and Quality team members, coordinate and host external audits.
• Develop into a leader and one of the company experts in the areas of Quality Management Systems.
• Remain current through training and study of all requirements to maintain Afton’s ACC and ISO certifications, and IATF 16949.
• Gain in-depth understanding of all functions of Afton’s Richmond Quality activities
• Support customer related activities including Questionnaires, Audits, requested documentation
• Maintain high-level controlled documents related to the Quality Management System.
• Providing ISO/Quality orientation to employees
• Lead or participate on special projects as required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:           

• Undergraduate degree in a science or business field
• 2 Years of work experience

NOTE: For NewMarket, Afton or Ethyl employees, an appropriate combination of experiences that will support the required skill base may replace one or more of the specific experience requirements above.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• ISO 9001 Trained Auditor
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
• Quality systems/ISO experience preferred
• Knowledge of Afton systems and processes

• Training – Training as an internal auditor and/or willingness to take classes necessary to become a certified ISO auditor and trained IATF 16949 auditor
• Excellent organizational and coordinating skills
• Strong computer skills, (spread sheets, charts, graphics, word processing)
