Afton Chemical Corporation develops and manufactures:

• Petroleum additives that help fuels burn cleaner and more efficiently, engines run smoother, and machines last longer.
• Performance fuels and refinery additives such as gasoline performance additives, diesel fuel additives, lubricity improvers and cold flow improvers.
• Driveline products such as automotive gear oil and automatic transmission fluids.
• Engine oil additives for passenger cars, heavy-duty diesel engines, and railroad and marine diesel engines.
• Industrial products such as anti-wear and R&O hydraulic oils, industrial specialty chemicals, industrial gear oils and grease.

This co-op position will provide technical assistance and be the maintenance liaison with plant engineering.

• Update and create E&I technical documentation(Spec sheets, loop drawings, electrical schematics, etc) based on field verifications.
• Lead storeroom inventory improvement project to include critical spares and Bill Of Material(BOM) creation in SAP.
• Run Maintenance SAP reports to pareto the data and identify high maintenance cost pieces of equipment.
• Participate in Maintenance reliability improvement projects based on failure analysis results.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. (four year college or university)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good working knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD software preferred.
