Lead Cybersecurity team. Design, implement, execute and continuously improve corporate cybersecurity practices, tools, programs, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for all tools, procedures and activities in support of global cybersecurity architecture. Continuously improve all aspects of cybersecurity, ranging from vulnerability assessment and protection of assets to incident detection and response.
  1. Provide oversight and management for Information Technology related compliance needs across the globe, including:
  • Growth and design of ISMS supporting all ISO 27001 or NIST CIS structured Compliance Programs.
  • IT support for all customer or governmentally mandated compliance as required. Analyze these and other compliance demands for duplication, and crosswalk them to existing controls.
  • Manage interactions with internal and external auditors, and drive remediation of identified control deficiencies.
  1. Consult with stakeholders, including Business Process Owners, to design and continuously improve procedures meeting policy, compliance and DLP needs. Implement, execute and maintain:
  • Practical technical tools
  • Practical controls
  • Practical testing and documentation of these controls
  • Effective training programs for these controls
  • Effective playbooks for various response scenarios
  1. Use NIST CSF to assess, prioritize and monitor security demands and initiatives based on risk analysis. Communicate with IT leaders to assertively address gaps and concerns. Provide timely architectural advice for significant IT changes and/or service additions.
  1. Schedule and lead execution of tabletop exercises, penetration testing and GRC control assessments to ensure strong and consistent controls.
  1. Work with IT leadership to perform due diligence on corporate partnerships, to include Cloud relationships (Infrastructure/Platform/Software as a Service). Ensure that documentation (Terms and Conditions, SOC 2 certifications, cyber insurance, etc) are up to date and adequate to ensure the protection of the company.
  1. Communicate status to stakeholders, to include statements to external entities as required, and to corporate leadership.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related required
  • Relevant professional certification or advanced degree required (MSIS, CISM, CISSP, GSEC)
  • 8 years Information Technology Experience
  • 4 years Information Systems cybersecurity or compliance Audit experience
  • 2 years in a leadership role

  • Deep knowledge of one or more cybersecurity frameworks or audit standards
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, peers and management.

  • Superior written and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex and conflicting standards, policies and business requirements and determine the best path forward
  • Able to analyze problems, situations and data and make effective, logical decisions.
  • Great attitude with internal customers and external parties.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously and address any issues that arise in support of global operations.
  • Demonstrates consistent accuracy and effectiveness in judgment and the decision making process.
  • Able to cope with multiple work interruptions.
