We have an exciting role within our Marketing team for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and develop the Commercial Vehicle Marketing team. We are looking for an individual with extensive business and marketing experience to guide and drive the product areas forward to meet profit growth targets through short and long term strategies.  The role will include leadership of a team of Marketers covering several product lines as well as extensive internal collaboration and customer interactions.

We are looking for an individual with B2B experience and strong coaching/ leadership skills to support direct and indirect reports further embedding Afton’s culture. A solid base in the key marketing principles is essential along with strong business acumen as well softer skills around influencing, negotiating and diplomacy. Ideally the candidate will have a degree or higher in a business or marketing subject.

The key areas of focus are:

• Lead the Commercial Vehicle product lines to meet strong growth targets and drive development of the long term vision of Afton in the market place
• Manage and coach a team ensuring development in line with individual and company’s short and long term needs.
• Oversee Marketing planning and strategies across the product lines to successfully meet Customer’s needs securing current business and successfully obtaining new opportunities
• Drive implementation of pricing principles to achieve margin improvement

• Degree level qualification in Marketing, Business, or Chemistry
• Experience at senior level in a marketing function
• Interface with marketing function in B2C or B2B industry
