Ensure that delivery equipment is available on time to meet customer needs and that required SAP data is entered timely and accurately. Process and track sample requests for the plant. Typically works under direct supervision.
Monitor orders for bulk shipments from the plant, coordinate with carriers to arrange equipment for shipment, and develop schedule times with operations to have equipment onsite at appropriate time.
Communicate handling instructions as necessary, request labels and consult with operating units and dispatchers to arrange for truck deliveries between Afton and warehouse, terminal and customers.
Review SAP and email communication on changes to demand/schedule and make proper communications to interested parties to avoid undue downtime and costs.
Ensure documentation and general record keeping is completed timely and accurately.
Maintain (in SAP) inventory record for all products that accurately reflect material to material transfers and shipped
Coordinate samples requests from customer, Research and Development, and tollers through the plant to guarantee on time delivery of goods.
