Overview

Overview

Order raw material per SAP and demand plan. Work with suppliers to ensure on time delivers. Process the raw materials into SAP in a timely and acute manner. Check raw material COA’s against specs. Work with other team members and help back them up with their duties. Assist with shipments of product and samples.

Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications

Revise delivery schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering

Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities

• Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes

• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands

Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules

Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays

Contact suppliers to verify shipment details

 

Education & Experience Minimum:

• 2 to 4 years of related experience

Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school)

• or equivalent combination of experience and education

Education & Experience Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field

• 4 to 6 years of related experience

• Or equivalent combination of experience and education

Proficient with SAP, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office Suite primarily Word, Excel and Power Point
