Serve as an integral team member which provides resources to implement lean manufacturing tools, including tiered communications, standard work, and leader standard work, across all manufacturing units at all sites as well as across support groups, such as maintenance, quality control, EHS and logistics.
Work on a team deploying lean manufacturing.
Participate in preparing and communicating project status reports that monitor status against the agreed upon project commitments.
Ensure that project goals support the business case and effectively manage leadership expectations.
Identify and implement changes to existing systems and process to reduce costs associated with manufacturing.
Recognize and facilitate business process improvements and consensus building activities.
Work toward standardization of quality, manufacturing, and maintenance practices across plants.
Coach & mentor others to become lean project leaders and practitioners.
Actively raise and resolve barriers to change with the site or functional leadership.
