Conduct sample inventory management and lab blending; keep safety and quality rules.

Check physical and chemical properties, and conduct bench tests as required.

• Sample blending and preparation with QC data
• Sample Inventory Management of raw materials and samples for engine, driveline, and industrial products
• Daily forklift support for inventory management and other operation
• Support China/Singapore CTS with Sample delivery arrangement for internal and external customers
• Backup for R&D lab testing
• Maintain related instruments in good condition, calibrate periodically
• Keep Afton safety policy and procedures, work in conformance with all Safety regulations
• Learn and keep company procedures including ISO 9001, HSES and quality control

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Associate degree in chemistry or related science
• Experimental work experience at chemical lab
• 2+ years of experience working in a lubricant laboratory is preferred
• Experience of driving forklift

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUM:

• Associate degree in chemistry or related science
• Experimental work experience within chemical environment
