Overview

This role will be based in our Paris office

 

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Sales professional to join our team based in Paris, covering a wide portfolio of customers and distributors across Europe. We have a strong growth agenda, so to be successful in this role you will need excellent account management and customer relationship skills, expertise in value selling and a proven track record of winning new business.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Plan, prepare and conduct customer sales meetings keeping stakeholders informed of the status of key accounts. (Expected to spend at least 40% of your time in front of Customers).
  •  Prepare Customer Account Plans focusing on share of wallet, sales goals, and account segmentation. Negotiating consensus and agreement to the plan with sales management and the business group.
  •  Develop strong connections and engagements with customers at all levels and all functions, collaborating with internal Technical and Marketing colleagues as part of the complete Account Management Team.
  •  Prepare reports and submit sales forecasts, draft AOP, deal approvals etc. to Sales/Marketing Management as directed. Develop accurate Customer product forecasts to aid development of AOP and supply planning (including new opportunities). Prepare and submit a monthly report on highlights, industry activities and competitive activities across the portfolio.
  •  Respond to or oversee all customer requests for product/technical information and manage activities required to solve customer problems.
  •  Stay abreast of industry insights and technology changes by attending approved industry meetings, participating in internal webinars and training courses, and making consistent interactions with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Skills/ qualifications

Fluent in French and English

Degree in Marketing, business or a technical field

Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of value selling principles, theories and practices

Demonstrated sales skills, business acumen, strong industry knowledge typically acquired in either a commercial or technical role
