EHS Specialist

Health, Safety and Environment


Responsible for implementing and supervising EHS activities while raising employee awareness. Responsible for managing the environmental risk.



  • Appraise and manage environmental risk in order to guarantee personnel safety, occupational health, and environmental protection.

  • Raise employee awareness to ensure that EHS measures are applied at every level of the organization.

  • Ensure required records, permits, and reports are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines by local, state, and federal agencies.

  • Identify hazardous workplace conditions, perform and document job hazard analysis, and coordinate activities to ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.

  • Develop training programs and manage all EHS related reports.

  • Works to create a culture that puts safety first, promotes interest in, and awareness of health, safety, and environmental issues at all levels.


  • Associate’s degree
  • 7+ years’ experience in EHS
  • Firefighting experience required


  • BS degree
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience
  • 5 years’ experience in EHS
  • 1+ year project/client services manager
  • Firefighting experience required
