This role will have a heavy Product Management focus, with strategic and operational responsibility for a key product area.
Working across the business, you will be required to form trusted partnerships with key stakeholders within Sales, R&D as well as the wider business to consult on market insights and trends, support effectively with new product development and introductions and build a deep understanding of the business to ensure Marketing strategy aligns with global strategies and objectives.
Developing a long-term vision for Afton’s presence in market segments, you will be responsible for setting longer term strategy and annual Marketing plans, ensuring planning and communications are:
To be suitable, you must be able to demonstrate strong strategic Marketing Management experience, specifically with solid Product Management skills, as well as experience and capabilities in leading and developing an experienced team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar industry with transferrable knowledge.
You must have strong business and financial acumen, with proven experience in delivering Value Based Pricing to monetise product and service benefits. You will be expected to seek continuous margin improvement and protection through portfolio and bottom quartile reviews, cost to serve initiatives, or general price increases in response to external costs.
