Responsible for implementing and continuously improving Process Safety Management programs and performance. Works to strengthen overall performance at the site, and assure compliance with applicable PSM regulations, and Responsible Care Process Safety requirements. Works to identify and mitigate process safety risk through procedures, reviews, metrics and analyses of processes, incidents, trends.

Plant Engineering, process engineering and process safety management
Familiarity with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements.
Understanding of state and federal regulatory laws
Oral and written communication skills which are clear, concise and effective
Able to handle several projects and tasks simultaneously
Effective organizational and time management skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Gensuite
Strong computer skills (Afton's routine EHS applications like Gensuite)
