Senior Supply Planning Coordinator

Location SG-Singapore

Overview

The purpose of the Senior Supply Planning Coordinator role is to reflect the regional 12-18 month operational and business objectives in the form of a demand plan within SAP. The Senior Supply Planning Coordinator should then, on a daily basis, manage the plan and associated material movements required to achieve the plan and to ensure timely fulfilment of orders. At a manufacturing site, the role will be centered on the management of production unit schedules. At a non-manufacturing location, the role is centered on raw material management via co-ordination with business, manufacturing and logistics. In both cases, the proper execution of the role should enable best utilization of production facilities and should enable the right product being available for customers in the right time and in the right location. Specific roles encompass planning for defined business units as required in regional and global markets.

6. Respond to changes in plan in a timely manner. In addition to updating the demand plan and material movement requirements, this should also include highlighting likely impact of these changes to the business team. This is to ensure that the impact of these changes is understood across the Regional/Global teams.
7. Where required, participate in regional S&OP meetings. This will include providing reports on plans, inventory/capacity outlook, actions associated with product transitions and new product introductions. The aim is to use the meeting to communicate the demand plan and seek input and validation.

8. Collaborate with planners in one’s own region and other regions to ensure coordination of material requirements and shared global resources (such as plant capacity) and develop best practice procedures.

9. Be aware of, and support where necessary, other Supply operations within the region to ensure that Planning activities are aligned with Logistics and Procurement objectives.
