Overview

Responsible for performing laboratory work assigned by a Chemist or Chemical Engineer in support of existing products or new product process development.

Responsibilities

 

  • Prepares equipment and carries out laboratory simulations of plant and new processes using standard or non-standard procedures.
  • Conducts laboratory experiments under the direction of a Chemist or Chemical Engineer.
  • Completes preliminary analysis and interpretation of test results
  • Maintains records of experimental work in laboratory notebook and compiles data in prescribed form.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 semesters of college level chemistry- working towards Bachelors or Masters degree
