Overview

We have an opportunity to join our Pricing team bsaed in Bracknell.

 

The role will support Marketing and Sales with regional price development and margin optimisation activities through implementation of Pricing processes, and champion Value Based Pricing (VBP) in the region.

 

This is an office based role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) 

Responsibilities

Margin Management

  • Develop, build, and maintain margin improvement framework and tools 
  • Provide pricing/revenue analysis to support commercial decisions 
  • Analyse opportunities to optimise pricing 
  • Establish a framework to continually evaluate, gather and store competitive pricing intelligence
  • Understand product and customer segmentation for each SBU to identify and measure value drivers 
  • Compile and review internal and external data to make better pricing decisions
  • Track key business metrics (e.g. sales, share of wallet, value perception, margin) 
  • Implement price changes as necessary to maintain category pricing strategies
  • Supports and guides sales in optimising deals during the quotation process

 

Pricing Administration & Compliance

  • Manage Price Approval process for the Region 
  • Super User of system, reporting and analytical tools
  • Liaise with US Pricing colleagues and Accounting to ensure accurate rebate accruals & prompt payment of rebates & commissions
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly review of all pricing 
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure efficient pricing administration 
  • Support global Price Band reviews and Pricing project initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, Finance, Applied/Physical Science, or related field
  • Strong experience in Pricing, Business, Finance, or applicable analytical roles in a B2B industry
  • Candidates with a technical background and commercial experience will be considered

  • Understanding of value-based pricing and its relevance to optimising margin
  • Experience using SAP and standard pricing tools/ systems
  • Strong communication with stakeholders
  • Business experience
  • Demonstrates strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills,
  • Good interpersonal & influencing skills, can communicate at all levels
