Overview

Responsible for outbound sample shipments (ground/air & hazardous/non-hazardous), tank truck shipments, related issues, and miscellaneous Logistics support activities.  This individual assists with paperwork required for samples, outbound tank truck shipments, inspection of outbound tank trucks and goods issues of outbound tank trucks.  This position conducts the Sauget lot inventory and will also compile the weekly late shipment report.  This individual also provides vacation relief to the Tank Truck Distribution Coordinator and may also provide support to the rail desk and warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all sample shipment from start to finish (Several steps in the process)
  • Inspect outbound tank trucks and complete all shipment paperwork
  • Perform inspections / work outside for short periods of time
  • Pull & process tank truck delivery due list
  • Review open SAP orders
  • Create & update tank truck schedule in Excel as needed
  • Communicate with CRS’, Sauget production schedulers, Sauget production supervisors, trucking companies regarding truck scheduling
  • Compile weekly reports utilizing SAP, Excel
  • Create & distribute SAP shipping documents
  • Filing, faxing & other general office duties
  • Support other Logistics roles as needed
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work off shift hours (afternoon shift)
  • Computer skills preferred- Microsoft Office- specifically Excel & Word
  • English language ability (both written and spoken) is required. 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Logistics, Supply Chain experience
  • Proficiency with ERP software (SAP preferred)
  • UPS WorldShip (preferred)

Benefits / Compensation - 

Pay Range:  $50,900 - $55,000
