Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to grow and develop their current skillset supporting customers within a technical environment. The role will provide expert technical guidance to Sales and interface with customers to meet their technology and approval needs. 

Responsibilities

In consultation with Sales/Business, organize and execute a plan for approval testing to meet the customer’s needs 

 

Organize data derived from the approval program and assemble all appropriate information in an easily understood manner

 

Maintain productive relationships with both internal and external customers and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Afton’s technology, customer needs, market trends, and industry direction

 

Manage projects with CTS stage gate process

 

In depth knowledge and understanding of industry test requirements, customer test requirements and associated specifications and how those tests can be influenced by Afton chemistry

 

Interface with CTS, R&D, OEM, Sales and Marketing to gain an understanding of current and future market trends, requirements, and applications

 

Interface with Marketing and Sales to ensure aligned customer account management.

 

Attend industry meetings to influence future specifications to Afton’s benefit

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
